Abstract

Recently. we have shown [1] that conventional joint transform correlator (JTC) systems can he modified to detect presence of patterns corrupted by colored noise via Wiener filtering (WF). We investigate in this paper pattern recognition ability of systems when WF is only roughly approximated, and present extensive simulation results of such cases.
