Abstract

A new approach to converter realization is presented. The realization is based on a topology which incorporates transmission lines as it's main component. The method may have applications in systems consisting of existing transmission lines for high frequencies, high energy pulses, spikes and transients. Important advantages of this realization are robust construction and constant conversion ratio, as well as characteristics of resistive load at the input.
