Abstract
The nonlinear interaction between unsteady modes was investigated which result in mean flow distortion in form of enhanced mixing or vectoring. The presence of confinement at jet exit promoted generation of coherent structures. The two actuators which were placed on opposite sides of circular jets were activated to control jet vectoring and spreading. The two actuators were operated together at same frequency to increase deflection angles.
