Abstract

Precision viscosity measurements of the salts RbCl, RbI, KI, NaI and their binary mixtures RbCl-RbI and KI-NaI were performed. Universal features of the viscosity behaviour of these melts are discussed together with the mixed nitrate NaNO3-KNO3 and NaNO3-RbNO3 melts in comparison with glass forming liquids.
