Abstract
Reviews geologic, hydrologic, and geotechnical investigations, together with engineering design and execution, for the construction of an LPG storage facility above the water table in an impermeabilized rock cavern in chalk and silicified chalk. This novel approach to small, operational liquid petroleum gas (LPG) storage facilities can easily be applied to storage facilities for fuel distillates and flammable liquids. -from Authors
