Two photon emission, entanglement and gain from semiconductors at room temperature

Abstract

The first observation of two-photon emission from semiconductors and its applications are presented theoretically and experimentally. Entanglement sources are proposed and two-photon gain is measured in electrically-pumped devices at room temperature, promising giant pulse generation.
