Abstract

Optical configurations providing low spatial frequency de-emphasis for incoherently illuminated two-dimensional objects, based on non-interacting two-pupils systems are analyzed. Design of optical pupils providing the necessary band-pass characteristics in all spatial directions is presented together with experimental results testing the procedure.
