Abstract

Introduces and presents excerpts from missing pages of Abraham Lewin's Warsaw ghetto diary. The entries fill in the gaps found in Lewin's published diaries for the period May-June 1942, a critical period in the ghetto prior to the mass deportations of the summer. The authenticity of the entries is beyond reproach, but whether the diary entries can all be attributed to Lewin requires some speculation. The biographical details and continuity in writing style suggest Lewin is the author.
