Abstract
Two patients with presenting symptoms of anterior knee pain were diagnosed and treated for Osgood-Schlatter disease. Eventually benign tumours of the tibial tuberosity were found. Following excisional biopsy these two patients recovered with no residual sequel. One should be alert to the possibility of local tumours in cases of anterior knee pain in children.
