Abstract
A multifrequency pulse can be generated in many different permutations that are nearly orthogonal to each other. This property allows generating a coherent train of diverse pulses whose ambiguity function is devoid from most of the recurrent lobes found in a coherent train of identical pulses. The ambiguity function volume, removed from the recurrent lobes, fills and raises the sidelobe pedestal.
