Abstract
Two patients are presented who suffered from recurrent respiratory infection, in whom bronchography demonstrated dilatation of the tracheobronchial tree with tracheal diverticula and sacculations between the cartilage rings. These findings are compatible with the tracheobronchomegaly syndrome, which is considered to be due to an anomaly of the connective tissue of the wall of the trachea and the main bronchi. In one of the cases there was extensive bronchiectasis of the saccular type.
