Abstract
An anterior mediastinal tumor with lymph-node metastases in a 38-year-old woman has been described. Histopathologic findings and clinical course corresponded well with Rosai and Higa's description of thymic carcinoid. The presence of this tumor should always be considered in the differential diagnosis of anterior mediastinal tumors.
