Abstract
The current paper reviews the 152 works presented in the 2006 CCEAM (Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration & Management) Conference in Cyprus, assuming that the findings may extend our understanding of the scholarship and currents of thought and study in the field of educational management (EM). The analysis reveals certain prevalent topics, such as leadership, career and policy implications, compared to other areas of interest in the field. In addition, the paper provides the reader with authorship patterns, types of papers, and methodological details. It concludes by discussing some perspectives on the current knowledge base in the field of EM.
