Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The major impact on the geography of Palestine during the first decade of British rule was in the development of a road and rail network. Also prominent was British influence in boundary determination and in the spread of educational and other public services. The writer stresses the importance of a distinction between British colonial policy per se in Palestine from the special implications of Jewish immigration during the period.-B.W.Beeley
