Abstract

During the war in Lebanon, in June 1982, a specific military installation for treatment of combat reactions was operated. This installation was located in the north of Israel, in a military camp, and became a second-line facility. Suggestion played an important part in the treatment of combat reactions in this installation. Its main role consisted of creating a suitable atmosphere and expectations, thus fostering the therapeutic success.
