Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In recent research conducted in various parts of the world it has been established that work at the local level — by educators, health workers and social organizations — is the most effective means of combating the spread of HIV/AIDS. In most countries in the world, due to their widespread physical presence as well as their social and moral legitimacy, the various religious organizations are in a unique position to contribute to this effort.
