Abstract
The author reflects on the realist conception of the law. He argues that legal realism offers important, unique and mostly forgotten jurisprudential insights. He demonstrates that legal realism offers a specific conception of law irreducible to any other. Furthermore, he explains that his purpose is to present a useful interpretation of legal realism, drawing out from the realist texts a vision of law that is currently relevant and valuable.
