Abstract
The general expression for the intrinsic viscosity of dilute polymer solutions, derived in the preceding paper, is applied to a nonharmonic dumbbell model. The limit of rigid dumbbell behavior is studied. Away from the rigid limit numerical results are obtained from power series expansion, combined with Padé approximants analysis.
