Abstract

In perturbative QCD, the inclusive spectra of the hadron produced in hadron-nucleus collisions are discussed. For large rapidities y > yA, when the formation time needed to form the secondary hadrons exceeds the nucleus size, the nucleus reveals itself as a coherent target, and all influence of the nucleus on the spectra reduces to some increase of the characteristic transverse momentum (on 25% for Pb). For y < yA, the rescattering of the secondary hadron inside the nucleus is very essential. The simple equation for such processes has been obtained and solved. The calculated distributions over transverse energy dσ/dEt for central and nuclear fragmentation regions are in a good agreement with experiment.
