Abstract

Summary: The gynaecological problems of neurofibromatosis (NF) are not well documented. The present survey of the literature defines 3 main problems, namely: clitoral, vulvar and pelvic NF. The clinical suspicion of NF would in most cases improve patient care and prevent undue procedures. There remain some important unsettled questions to be answered.
