Abstract
The galaxies that formed in the universe and the transformation of neutral intergalactic gas in the early cosmos into the hot, ionized plasma are discussed. At the moment of cosmic recombination, the regions that started out slightly denser began to contract due of gravitational forces. It was found that after billions of years of contraction, galaxies and the stars within them were able to form.
