Abstract

In this chapter, we formally define the main tool developed in this work: the fuzzy all-permutations rule-base (FARB). We show that the special structure of the FARB implies that its IO mapping can be described using a relatively simple closed-form formula. To motivate the definition of the FARB, we first consider a simple example adapted from [106; 107].
