N2 - After undergoing bilateral, but not simultaneous, perforating injury, the eyes of 20 albino rabbits were treated with intravitreal and intramuscular injections of penicillamine or saline. The eyes treated with penicillamine developed significantly less vitreous proliferation than the fellow (control) eyes treated with saline.
