Abstract
Focused management technology (FMT) is a managerial approach designed to improve processes and increase profits. It offers a synergy of the new and already well-established philosophies and techniques of other management approaches. These techniques and their underlying philosophies are modified and tailored to meet the special environment and the specific needs of the electronics industry. In this article, the integration of FMT into the electronics industry will be demonstrated by a successful implementation in a department of a leading Israeli electronics company.
