Abstract

The satellite scanner imagery by a narrow angle sensor of high resolution is considered. The transition from continuous nadir imagery to the selected oblique one with multiple change-over of inclination of sensor optical axis on each track of orbit, i.e. to the aimed imagery is proposed. It leads to the reliable receipt of images of the predetermined areas in the required season even in regions with unfavourable weather and enables one to carry out environmental monitoring. The experimental aimed imagery from Resource-Ol satellite is described. Requirements to the modification of orbit and sensor, as well as to the processing of images are given.
