Abstract

There are ten useful tips to recall when performing a midface lift in the treatment of lower lid retraction. These include having realistic expectations, identifying what layer is causing the retraction, and dissecting in a virgin plane. It is also useful to place a spacer graft and keep the lid on stretch for a week. The final outcome may not be known for several months.
