N2 - A rectangular array consisting of identical elements can be transformed to another rectangular array by changing its interconnections. When the total number of the elements is conserved, the structurechanging process is equivalent to the coupling of the original array by means of a DC transformer (DCT). The purpose of the paper is to describe switching networks, using a minimum number of switching elements, which can be used for the array transformations.
