Abstract
The theory of the absorption of quantum particles in a surface is discussed. The theory is based on a Feymann-type integral over trajectories confined by an absorbing boundary. The directional absorption current at the boundary was obtained by terminating the trajectories reaching the absorbing wall. The results showed that the survival probability of one dimensional particle between two absorbing walls exhibiting decay with beats.
