Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to continue the studies of a high-Q comb resonator. Experimental results on mode selection are presented and a simple approximate method is also given for the calculation of a given resonator. The overall structure of the spectrum of natural oscillations was investigated by means of the R2-65 automatic SWR and damping meter. When it is used in the manual frequency tuning regime, the spectral line width at the 3-dB level and the SWR value at resonance are determined.
