Structure of nuclear matter and QCD sum rules

An attempt is made to obtain the main properties of nuclear matter by QCD sum rules technique. Our approach does not use the concept of N - N interaction. There are no free parameters in the model. The expectation values of certain quark and gluon field operators averaged over vacuum, nucleons and pions are involved. The characteristics of symmetric and asymmetric matter are presented as power series in Fermi momentum. The renormalization of the axial coupling constant is also obtained.
