Stress fracture of the tibial tuberosity in a high jumper: Case report

Abstract

A 16-year-old male high jumper sustained a stress fracture of the tibial tuberosity. Continued activity resulted in a type III fracture of the tibial tuberosity necessitating treatment via open reduction and internal fixation.
