Abstract
The stress analysis of the lung parenchymal microstructure was discussed. The mechanical behavior under physiological and pathophysiological conditions were analyzed. The internal stress distribution in normal and abnormal microstructures were solved using a computational model. The cardinal function of the human lung gas exchange was also studied.
