Stable optical vortices solitons propagation in CS2

Abstract

The stable propagation of two-dimensional vortex solitons in CS2 is reported. The intensity dependence of the nonlinear refractive index and three photon absorption are the key mechanisms to arrest the azimuthal symmetry breaking.
