Spatiotemporal quasi phase matching

Abstract

We present a temporal extension of quasi-phase-matching of a nonlinear optical process. This allows conserving both momentum and energy over macroscopic length and time scales. This treatment is relevant for any dynamic quasi-phase-matching scheme.
