Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

The isolation and structural determination of several cembrane derivatives (2-7) isolated from the soft-bodied coral sarcophytum glaucum- is reported. The various compounds can be divided into cembranolids, cembranes containing the dihydrofurane moiety, and correlated alcohols. The stereochemistry at C-1, as well as that of the epoxide ring, believed to be responsible for the differences between the members of the first two classes of compounds, is discussed.
