Abstract
Resonance fluorescence characterized by anomalously long radiative lifetime was observed from the second excited singlet state of the "isolated" 3,4 benzpyrene molecule, confirming theoretical predictions for strong non-adiabatic coupling between two close lying electronic states of a large molecule.
