Abstract

Continuous wave (CW) linear frequency conversion using quasi-phasematched crystals is used for efficiently generating radiation over a broad range of wavelengths. A periodically poled KTiPO4 (PPKTP) crystal was used to build a CW, pump resonant, singly resonant optical parametric oscillator (PR-SRO). It is pumped by a unique high power, narrow-linewidth solid state laser and exhibits high output power and a wide emission range with a single grating.
