Abstract
This is an interesting analysis, from an Israeli point of view, of the problem of an Israeli military presence in Sharm-al-Shaikh, on the Straits of Tiran, and its relationship to proposals for a demilitarized Sinai, and to the strategic balance in the Middle East.
