Abstract

Seismic diffraction attract attention of researchers for a long time. But until now they do not play an important role in seismic data processing and imaging technologies. On the other hand diffractions are direct indicators of such important subsurface objects as faults and fractures. If diffractions obtain a deserved attention we can increase essentially resolution of seismic method.
