Abstract

We study the complex Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) spectrum of single-silica-particle-scattered light by finite-difference-time-domain (FDTD) simulation. We find that complex LG spectrum can be potentially utilized for 2-dimensional localization of a dielectric spherical particle.
