Rotating crystals and micro-cavities with applications to optical gyroscopes

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

We study propagation in rotating crystals, micro-cavities, and slow-light structures. Novel manifestations of the Sagnac effect are reported. Theoretical tools for studying the new effects in detail are discussed. Results are verified by numerical simulations.
