Abstract

A 65-year-old man with a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia had enlarging lymph nodes in the inguinal region that did not respond to the usual chemotherapy. A biopsy revealed a large cell immunoblastic lymphoma (type B), A Ga-67 scan at that time revealed multiple sites of uptake in soft tissues and bones. A bone marrow scan clarified the findings in the long bones.
