Abstract

The ratio of G6PD to 6PGD activity was determined in oral mucosa cells of 6 female subjects during the period of one menstrual cycle. An inversed correlation between the level of the activity ratio to the frequency of sex chromatin during this period was observed. Two hypotheses are put forward to explain the observations.
