Abstract

The experimentally observed differential cross sections of photoproduced ρ{variant}0 mesons, in the energy range of 1.5-6.0 GeV, are quantitatively explained by the strong absorption model developed in the helicity representation. The model enables us to estimate the total ρ{variant}0p cross sections.
