Abstract
The clinical and radiological features of three patients with acute renal arterial occlusion are presented. Selective low dose streptokinase infusion was successful in treating the ischaemic kidney despite a delay of up to 3 days before starting therapy. This approach is an effective and safe alternative to surgery in acute renal artery occlusion.
