Abstract
A simple technique for the reinsertion of a feeding jejunostomy after its breakdown is described. The catheter of the old jejunostomy was used as a guide for the new one. This technique allows the old catheter to be changed by nonoperative means, thus avoiding a second laparotomy. No complications occurred following this procedure.
