Abstract

The paper considers the problem of quantization noise in the Notch Fourier transform (NFT). Quantization noise analysis is performed and a mixed configuration error spectrum shaping (ESS) technique is applied in order to reduce the quantization noise. The ESS structures are kept simple and efficient while effectively reducing the quantization noise.
