Transformation of latrunculin B (1) into two new 12-membered (4) and 16-membered (3) macrolides and into a 4=substituted-4-thiazolin-2-one (5) all possessing interesting biological activities is reported. The structure of all three new compounds is based mainly on 1D and 2D NMR spectra.
