title = "Random matrix theory for closed quantum dots with weak spin-orbit coupling",
abstract = "The effect of weak spin-orbit coupling on closed quantum dots in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field which breaks the time-reversal symmetry was analyzed. In this regime which can be realized for quantum dots, the spin-orbit coupling does not lead to one nondegenerate Gaussian unitary ensembles (GUE) ensemble but to two independent GUEs for spin-up and spin-down electrons. This brings important consequences particularly at low temperatures, as there was no level repulsion for levels with opposite spins.",
