N2 - It is demonstrated that the ensemble averaged radiative efficiency is given by the Laplace transform of averaged decay laws, which have been extensively studied in the field of energy transfer. This procedure leads to exact expressions, which include all neighbours, and which supersede Monte Carlo calculations for the efficiency.
